    If you are going to share a pizza with 8 slices and you already know for sure that one side is going to get 4 and the other side is going to get 2, and all you have to discuss are the 2 in the middle, there is no reason for either party not to eat part of what everyone knows will be theirs. No one needs to starve while the discussion goes on. The Palestinians always expect everyone to starve while they make up their minds about dinner but the problem is if you wait too long then all of the food spoils. .
