I am glad to see that some Turks with common sense also are posting their views in Haaretz. As you mentioned Israel and Turkey are facing similar threats from local terrorists such as PKK and Hamas as well as regional thugs like Iran therefore they should be allies. Furthermore in the past years when such an Armenian bill was presented Israel used her influence to stop it. Israel was also instrumental in removing the US arms embargo over Turkey which was established after the Cyprus invasion of 1974. Israeli politicians have shown some desire and actions to correct the situation apologizing for the ugly incident by Ayalon. It is time for Turkey to do the same, maybe apologize for Davos. I would not say Obama's policies are poor but it could be better. I hear it is warm and sunny in Istanbul. A nice day to enjoy a lufer izgara at sariyer or beykoz with a glass of raki. Iyi geceler
