What a persevering apologist diehard you are. Cast Lead was triggered by a spike of deliberate Palestinian attacks on Israeli civilian targets, mostly by Hamas, but also by other islamist groups. There was no other way to stop these attacks at civilians than to engage the terrorists and try to destroy as much of their infrastructure as possible, which Israel rightfully did. In itself there is for me no different value to the lives of Palestinians and Israelis. The fact that Palestinian civilians died in this military operation was regrettable, but given the tactics used by the terrorists, namely hiding between their own civilians and using them as shields not surprising and hardly avoidable. .However, despite the Palestinian casualties I still find the Israeli offensive fully justifiable, because I want to see and end to the terrorist practices of Hamas and others. If Hamas, Jihad and other extremists don't stop there will be new operations like Cast Lead, and despite the predictable Palestinian woman and children caught in the crossfire I will support these offensives again..It is up to your Hamas friends. Time will tell. Thank you!
