"How many wars have Syria and Iran started compared to Israel and USA? The only attack by Syria against Israel was in 1973 (not 1972 as some educated "generals" claim) and that was a retaliation for the numerous wars Israel had started and a retaliation for the constant border violations." Not even the BBC tows that line (or that lie) any more. Syria attacked Israel in 1948. Syria attacked Israel in 1967, not the other way around (the war was initially between Israel and Egypt alone). Syria attacked Israel numerous times between the 2 wars. Syria attacked in 1973 to destroy or severely cripple Israel, not to start diplomacy. Syria invaded Lebanon, not for its own security, but because it never recognized Lebanon as a separate country. Syria and Iran initiated numerous proxy Hizbullah, Hamas, and Islamic Jihad attacks against Israel. You say Iran never initiates war. That's funny. Only last week there troops were operating in Iraqi Kurdistan.
