    Islam, it seems to me, has no response to how Muslims live as a minority within a pluralistic society. There is little historic precedent for this with the exception perhaps of India and, although a majority, in Albania. That is one question. That question has nothing to do with Israel's occupation. Might I remind you, iof you care to go back and investigate, when and how did the political balance in Palestine change from minority support of Hamas to a larger minority support, which gave them the lead position among parties? What factors intervened. When Israelis were driving in droves along the Jerusalem road to the casino in Jericho or eating in the restaurants of Ramallah without incidient, what intervened and suddenly made such outing far more dangerous? You speak about the islamofacist plans of hamas, well, Israel is doing one hellava job carrying out a policy that denies the palestinians any chance of every hoping to be rid of the chain of occupation around their neck.
