Why not let NATO decide who they want? instead of you setting them straight from Tucson as to who they should or should not excersize with? Turkey has been a NATO member since 1942 and fought in Korea that year with America. Turkey has been a key member of NATO during the cold war only partly because of its strategic location. . Turkey is a still an important NATO member. Israel has nothing to offer that begins to compare to what Turkey contributes to the NATO alliance. Israel would be a liability to NATO politically, and has no strategic value nor contribute to America?s or Europe?s security in any way. That is why Israel has not been accepted into NATO.
