In 2006, Shlomo Ben-Ami stated on Democracy Now! that "Camp David was not the missed opportunity for the Palestinians, and if I were a Palestinian I would have rejected Camp David, as well." Would you, in all honesty, as a Palestinian have accepted an offer of a mini-state now with maybe more in 25 years' time, if Israel didn't change its mind, and still almost 10 per cent less than the 1967 borders? Do you not thonk there was a serious possibility Israel might simply have refused to hand the rest of the territory over, after 25 years? Just as Bibi is refusing his roadmap settlement freeze obligations now.
