State says nobody has a right to sell the drafts on the open market for a profit, as this infringes on the state's right to keep an asset 'of deep symbolic significance' that belongs to the state and the public.01:40 27.11.15 | 0 comments
i will state your case another way. you have set up an argument whose alleged success or failure depends upon a citation by the state of israel that it is a light unto the nations. presumably, if i cannot provide it, you, then, have won the argument. but, it is your own argument, since i never stated that israel 'officially' takes such a position. however, you cannot dispute that part of the jewish ideology - a fundamental underpinning of the jewish state, as expressed in the tanach - includes the notion that it shall be the light unto the nations. you might as well have asked me to number the stars in the universe, since i would have also 'ducked' this question as it had nothing to do with what i said.
