    Peter,regarding your attitude in whether it is wrong to carpet bomb Gaza. You did say to Gabe that he should detract that statement and it wasnt acceptable I agree. Peter I am horrified by it.I dont see it as a point of view intellectually as if we are talking about whether eating traiffe is acceptable or not. To me its a disgusting issue and it went from Gabe to others down the line and finally to you where it seem to be an intellectual issue. I dont see the Holocaust as an intellectual issue,nor this either. You want to talk halacha.One talmudic law is that if someone asks us to kill someone else we must refuse no matter what and infact die for this value if need be. It is in this vein that I say that carpet bombing Gaza would be on that scale if you want to discuss Halacha. Retracting statements doesnt do it Peter.
