This is not a religious war. This has nothing to do with Muslims and Jews, who, by the way lived alongside each other and Christians in Palestine before the partition. This is about a colonial war waged by Zionists in the first place and then Israelis against the indigenous Palestinians. It is no different to the war waged by the Americans against the Indians. Except of course that the Americans gave their indigenous people full rights as citizens and Israel give semi-rights to some and then sought to occupy and dispossess the rest. Withdrawing from Judea and Samaria won't make a difference because these places do not exist... well, except in religious teaching. Withdrawing from Palestine beyond at least pre: 67 borders, including East Jerusalem will make a very big difference. However, it is probably too late. The one state solution is the only card on the table now.
