As I said term limits by itself are not prerequisite for democracies but when a president passes laws that makes him/her lifetime president with all the power to rule the way Chavez and Zelaya are trying to do and Csatro already has are antidemocratic in fact dictatorship. In Israel once a sitting government looses parliamentarian support the government falls and a new one must be established. If this is not possible under the current Knesset arithmetic new elections are held. There is no such law in Israel that gives a president or PM unchecked power such as those powers are askes by Chavez and Zelaya. However this is actually a point not worth to discuss. It widely accepted by all intellectuals that what Chavez and Zelaya are trying to do are dictator power and those who support this idea are supporters of dictatorships. Regards from all American democrat David Israel.
