must we always wait for the first bullet to be fired before protecting our lives? we were threatened by japan and did nothing until thousands died. we were threatened by the saudis and again thousands died. now we are being threatened by an obvious madman with a history of human torture. let's not forget he was one of the leaders of the so-called student occupation of the american embassy. do we dare take a chance that he will eventually fit into the human family of values or do we risk millions of lives for the sake of our own values and assumptions? this guy has declared war, not only on israel but on all western culture. he has put a huge target on his head by his own actions. he is begging to be martyred. unfortunately, i support collateral damage in return for the overwhelingly good it brings about. the hundreds brought to risk in return for the millions saved will be worth it. it is time to take him out and deal with the rehtoric afterwards. btw, this moran cares little for the collateral effect that would take out the arab population in his holy war on the west.
