Tell Judy Eliasov and others that think this way that it's not necessary to live in Israel before The Messiah comes. It's a difference of opinion between Torah greats. Saying there are no "assimilated" Jews in Israel is false. It depends on your definition of "assimilated." Someone who speaks Hebrew but thinks and acts like a non-Jew is considered assimilated. It's sometimes better for the religious to live outside of Israel because of the negative influence of "assimilated" Israeli youth. A young, impressionable child, could learn bad language and non-spiritual ways from these misguided and untutored Israelis. After all, a Jew is a spiritual being first, and an Israeli second.
