    Namely that Israel has no credibility at all in these negotiations. Nobody (not even the Americans as shown by Obama's remarks a month back or so) trusts that Netanyahu seeks or even would accept the kind of peace-deal that is expected by the international community and that respects international law. Israel has just used the negotiations a few too many times to stall and expand the settlements. Keep in mind that while Bibi says that the Palestinians is asking for a precondition in the settlement freeze the Israeli demand of no such freeze is every bit as much a precondition (and an unjust one at that since the settlements contradict international law). It is a worn out phrase, but how do you expect the Palestinians to negotiate over the pizza while Israel is eating it one slice at a time without seeking a deal?
