Intergration does not mean losing your own identity, it does however imply that you try to highlight those things which are common between you and the rest of the population. For eg:I remember in the 60/70s when the blacks fought for civil rights in the US-I wonder how many americans would have supported them if they went parading flags other countries and not the US flag. In Israel, the arabs maintain they are 'palestinians living in Israel', any demonstration sees them carrying palestinian flags and not Israeli ones(even if you don't feel it represents you, it is the flag of the country for now). They emphasise their difference and it's no wonder the jewish population has taken notice. If one wants to call Israel racist for this poll,we would have to consider the average jewish outlook as concerns blacks and asians in Israel-do they wish them out of Israel and if not, WHY? here, I think Lieberman has a point...
