It would certainly be a blessing for Israel if this treaty is abrogated. Egypt has had the advantages of the peace treaty receiving US Aid - building its army , receiving the Sinai oli fileds while maintaining Israel as Enemy number 1. Israel has blindly accpeted the status quo, while subconsciously knowing that one day war may again break out. The best thing for Israel is to be realistic and try to regain the oil fields and the advantages that Israel so easily gave away, and being true to itself by really assesing the worth of a false peace. It is true no Israeli soldier was killed in the last 30 years , however on the Syrian border without any peace treaty , also no soldier was killed. So, what did we need ti give everything away- every last inch and what did we get in return ? Now , a country that sees Israel as Enemy # 1, and who wants to court Hamas ?
