The Labor party is about to leave the Lieberman-Netanyahu (Nyet-and-Yahoo) coalition. In addition, the US elections will be over in less than 3 weeks and Obama will be un-chained in regard to Israel. I imagine the US will not impose a veto on a resolution accepting a Palestinian state, but a less complicated approach is one that Papa Bush used against P.M. Shamir. Obama should announce a RE-EVALUATION of US relationship to Israel. The Israeli public is not that ideological, will recognize the danger, and vote in the coming elections for a Livni-Labor coalition. This will revive the peace talks and conclude with a Palestinian state.
