The history of how e got here is no longer relevant as pointed out by Ray Hanania. As long as we keep dwelling on what took place in 1948 and 1967 in order to determine who is "right" we will not achieve piece. The reality is that most of the people who were involved then are no longer with us and we are dealing with real existing people and real lives today. Neither side should have the sins of their fathers placed on their heads and both sides should be able to hope for a better future which can only be achieved by eliminating the conflict. This plan has merit given the situation on the ground today. It leaves the control of how many Arabs and how much land to exchange essentially to Israel to decide. I believe that it may be one of the few ways to really move forward and resolve what will otherwise continue to be dangerous and unfair situation for the real people on both sides who just want to live their lives and give their children a better opportunity than they had.
