I applaud the overall effort the writer who proposed the plan. Its overall desire to seek balance is commendable despite some important sections being deeply flawed. If I recall correctly Israel already has about 20% if not a bit more of its population being arab. The addition of over 400,000 more is simply asking Israel to take on something that threatens the very reason for the state's creation. That may sound "racist" but only if you do not ask how many Jewish citizens exist in all of the arab and muslim countries...not to mention the religious underpinning of just about all of them. No, the spirit is good but I am afraid the reality of this one begs for different solutions. I will pose some in a second post.
