After Syria has used its territory, including the Golan, three times to attack Israel in all out wars whose aim was the erasing Israel from the face of earth and with it all traces of Jewish existence, i.e. 1948, 1967, , 1973, and in so doing breaking treaties and international law. And after three times that Israel managed to repel the Syrian army, operating within coalitions of other Muslim-Arab armies, and to gain control over the launching pad of Syria's aggression, i.e. the Golan, why should Israel take more risks...??!! Would any other country do so...??!!
