Harris, What a hawk you are. You remind me of the war mongers in Washington who rely on the generals and arms dealers to bring democracy around the world instead of the diplomats. Yet we know peace has never come from the barrel of a gun but when people agree to recognize each others rights and draw up agreements. According to a former columnist from the Washington Post Colman Mc Carthy history has shown that whenever the US bombed or invaded the following countries it produced no democracy or peace: China, Korea, Guatemala, Indonesia, Cuba, Congo, Peru, the Dominican Republic, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Grenada, Libya, El Salvador, Nicaragua., Panama, Iraq. Sudan, Afghanistan and Yugoslavia. But when well organized groups got together they brought down tyrants like Milosevic in the Yugoslavia, Gen. Wojciech regime in Poland and General Pinochet in Chile, and Macros in the Philippines and Apartheid in South Africa. So much for all your fire and brim stone the peaceful way seems to have produced better result without all the des- truction. Indeed, it brought an end to colonial rule in India and discrimination in the US and the great civil rights. Dutch
