The headlines this week reeked of déjà vu, reminiscent of previous confrontations and intifadas, as conditions on the ground in Gaza are becoming more and more similar to those that preceded the 2014 war.19:05 05.02.16 | 4 comments
"the word settlement was once a respectable term for people who built homes on empty land and created new towns and villages ! WHICH IS PRECISELY WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN ISRAEL!!" - paul harris Harris, the weed must be very strong in Tel Aviv. But, you should give it a rest now and then. It has apparently killed all of your history brain cells. After the 1948 war, 535 Palestinian villages and towns were razed and/or resettled by Jews. The attempt to erase any evidence of a non-Jewish history and attachment in these towns and villages has obviously been a success with respect to your total lack of knowledge on this subject. Many of the destroyed Palestinian villages were rebuilt as Jewish towns and given Hebrew names.
