Arab communities worry over lack of personal safety and trust that police will take action.01:20 02.05.16 | 1 comments
I agree with the US comments. What we are witnessing is a paradigm shift. Isi Liebler has in my opinion correctly identified one of the symptoms of this being European post-nationalism which he see's as a major threat to Isreal's current policies. At the time of Operation Cast Lead the Bush regeime and in effect the world gave Israel Carte Blanche in Gaza under the old win loose approach. In some ways it is unfair to hold Israel to the emerging post Bush reverence for international law. It is said that the past is a foreign land, what is important is Israels intentions in the future as can be signalled by Israel's treatment of the people of Gaza. Goldstone would have much less sting if its issues where seen as belong to an old approach and not existing Israel policy.
