Just because he can't live openly as a gay in Nablus doesn't mean that we have an obligation to take him in. He is applying for refugee status because he wants to live his gay life openly and as a refugee its harder for Israel to turn him away. Considering he has been arrested so many times rather than letting him live here because he is gay we should be deporting him back to Nablus. Palestinians want a state let them live in the land they want to have as part of this state. Just because he is gay doesn't mean we owe him anything.
