Jane, you are something else - pontificating from Palm Beach, FL about matter where you repeat cliches and don't present historical facts! The fight against the Arabs began in the 1920s and 30s when the new Jewish leadership decided that it wanted ALL of Palestine! Ben Gurion, Dayan, Weitzman, Jabotinski always had it very clear in their minds what they wanted and the Palestinians were easy pickings for them. Don't forget, Palestine was part of Transjordan at the time. With the UN partition, the Haganah inmediately began its war of expansion and became the IDF. So, the right of self defense is a very weak argument, don't you agree? "They hide behind their women bla, bla, bla....." is really not an argument. Why? 1. Because the Palestinians have lost their homeland. 2. Hisbollah is not a government and doesn't have a regular armed forces to fight with. You know, like the Haganah back then. But the IDF have F-15s, F-16s, tanks, submarines, missile cruisers, etc. (to be continued)
