No worker from either the Palestinian Authority nor from any land have ever been forced to come to Israel for work. The Palestinians historically relied on Israel for a gret deal of their income and the recent intifada proved a double edged sword for them (the Palestinians) because not only where they losing the intifada they were also being barred from entering Israel. If peace should ever return where Israelis feel safe then the Palestinians should return and find work the Migrant workers have taken over from the Palestinians and they have bought with them seperate problems - the greatest being they dont want to return to their own lands i am no bleeding heart liberal and have no problem with legal migrant workers going about their lives - as soon though as their status changes from legal to illegal i have no problems with the arrests and deportations finally the palestinians come to israel every day and go every night - it is with these people (the palestinians) we must find our work force as they are our neighbours fianlly if the palestinians are real about peace and if abbas wants peace, let him rule his people and show he is serious. the idea that the occupation is a moral issue is tright of the first order it is a necessary evil. soon though this will change as sharon takes the various unilateral measures to give the palestinians their dreamed of peace bm
