Now,I could understand Erekat claiming that the Tomb of the Patriachs and Rachel's Tomb are MUSLIM sites as well as Jewish sites.It's the contention that they are PALESTINIAN sites that leaves me breathless,unless he's agreeing that they are both Jewish and Muslim sites in which case there's no problem.I don't think that's what he means;he's claiming some sort of exclusivity on a national basis,which is absurd. If Erekat were interested in peace and co-existence,he could put forward a plan for a Heritage Trail that covered the dual Jewish and Muslim (and possibly Christian) significance of the sites. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
