Borders mean nothing if the two sides are negotiating in good faith, which they are not. The hatred that now exists makes it mandatory that the borders be defined, and they will not necessarily be the 1967 borders. The Palestinians rejected the 1948 borders and they will have to accept a reasonable compromise on 1967 ones. As to the refugees, there was a population exchange.Some one million Jews were forced out of their homes in the Arab countries and they lost everything. They cannot go back neither can the Palestinian refugees.
