The wishfull thinking of Persian Kitty is just like that of the iranian diaspora here in California. They are all foolish dreamers. Just like Sadaam Hussein, the mullah regime in Iran will go on until someone like Bush/Cheney decides to get rid of it. Bush/Cheney made the decision that it was not worth the cost, and that was a good decision. The iranian people are getting what they brought on themselves, but they will never be able to get the mullahs off their backs. In the meantime, the Potemkin Village idiot show of great technology and industrial growth continues. Is today's Iran dangerous to its neighbors?? To a certain extent, yes, but not the way that Sadaam was. Sooner or later, conflict with Russia will increase over caspian and central asia issues, and then things will get nasty for iranian people. But US and Israel should keep priority on missile defense, and leave the mullahs alone.
