In 67 the public still believed our Generals who were above politics and had the good of the nation at heart. Not so, even then, bjt we believed. Today every Israeli knows that our Generals are out for their pockets only and have only their interests at heart. If selling their stock portfolio a few hours after the 2nd Leb war began, it's understood that they are self-serving opportunists. The only difference is: in 67 our Generals led our troops in Combat and that's why we believed them when they said E. Jerusalem & territories were necessary for our future defense. Today, not one General served in combat during 2nd Lebanon War. Not one, and when they lie and tell us that E. Jerusalem & territories are needed to protect us, WE KNOW THEY ARE LYING THROUGH THEIR TEETH AND WANT TO DUMP THE TERRITORIES AND E. JERUSALEM TO PROVE THEY ARE LYING..
