You are right in that nothing specific in Hannah's comments indicates a hatred of the Jews. However, it is clear from the writings of Hannah and the rest of the virulent "anti-Zionists" who post here that they are in fact obsessed by the Jews. For what is Israel but the expression of the national aspirations of the Jewish people. The attempt to make an artificial distinction between zionism and Jews is a flimsy fig leaf behind which our old friend the anti-Semite takes shelter today. Israel is a Jewish state. The Jews legitimate right of national expression is in that state. One need not be a great thinker to know that a hater of Jews will be no lover of Israel. Hannah and her ilk are all too familiar to us. Their obsession with Jews drives them to spend hours reading Jewish newspapers and writing nasty posts for other Jews to read. Before the internet we would see their scribblings on bathroom walls. It is a hatred with no logic, and a hatred that cannot be reasoned with.
