"National Intelligence Director Mike McConnell is also concerned that the Lebanese radical group, Hezbollah (hez-BUH'-lah), MAY HAVE sleeper cells already in the US. He says the worry is that they could commit terrorism if the US crosses some unknown, Hezbollah "red line"." - Associated Press (July 18th) "Mike McConnell, revealed a secret a week ago: Hezbollah sleeper cells ARE waiting in the United States for the order to carry out terror attacks." - A. Oren As we can see, Oren turned fear into certainty. The fear itself makes sense; one should always fear the worst might happen, but this should not lead to rash action. One should have feared WMD in Saddam's hands, but.. In any case, it strikes me that talking about Hizballah diverts attention from the real point. The danger comes from Iran, not Hizballah. Hizballah itself never before attacked the US when that did not invade Lebanon. Of course this can happen now when attacking Iran, but perhaps Iran has another way to retaliate.
