Sadly, Bicicerly is not wrong. I was an Oranim volunteer in 2010. There was virtually not screening process at all and they care more about getting you to come to the program than they do about administrating that actual program. I did the "free" community volunteering as opposed to the Eilat hotel "internship". I never met a single person from the Eilat program who wasn't immensely disappointed. The coordinators then pressure people into giving positive testimonials.
