Republicans. Both rapacious and traitorous, but one puts up a slight, easily disproven facade of caring about the public while the other just advocates unrepentant greed as if it's a virtue. In practice they are indistinguishable. Try getting their attention without waving a fistful of cash in their faces. Good luck with that. The U.S. has been a one-party system for years. Why else would we overwhelmingly elect a president whose most memorable campaign pledge was that he would bring about undefined "Change"? And of course, he was lying, as anyone with any sense could have predicted. He's the product of a corrupt system from which nothing good ever comes. Every election it's the false "choice" of the lesser of two evils... but you always end up with evil. The sick thing is, people actually like it like this as long as it doesn't affect their lifestyle. Political parties are like sports teams... pick a side and cheer, watch the election results from the couch with a beer in hand, hate the other team, never bother to learn the rules of the game or study what they're actually doing, just keep going to work in the morning, coming home at night to watch tv. You don't have any say in anything anyway, so just pick a team and cheer. After all, if you don't pick a side, you can't complain about it when the side you wouldn't have picked does something even worse to you than the side you would have preferred being shafted by, right?
