This is an honest and refreshing artivle. It is also provides an understanding for the tragedy that is Israel/Palestine today. Israel was created out of absolute need, and its existence is justified even though the Palestinians were the unfortunate victims. Now that it survives, however, Israel continues to oppress the Palestinians rather than getting off of their backs. The Palestinians have the same rights to national sovereignty as the Jews and the Israeli's persistent efforts to deny them basic rights is creating the very sort of resistance that Jews would be engaged in if they were denied their rights. Enough with the bullshit about Israeli purity. The occupation is brutal. Resistance is justified. Get the hell out of the occupied territories. Jews around the world need to proclaim, "NOT IN MY NAME!"
