Maybe the US should be asking itself if opposing dictatorships is a good idea. So many US "friends" say their ox is being gored when dictators fall. Of course, if the US cannot afford support or opposition for friend or foe, maybe that is what will happen. Already, we are being told that what was passed last Friday and was proclaimed as policy is being grossly misread and does not mean what is says. Black is really white. Orange is really yellow. Who knows what US policy might be tomorrow? Does it matter, if the country is bankrupt? Who will be the receiver?

Israel’s critics run the gamut from Jew-haters to people who have the country’s best interests in mind. Lumping all together as anti-Semites is a big mistake.
