As I watch the sad and Ironic public "Cairo" claims of victory & by default legitimacy of Hamas; I have come to the following conclusions. Obama's interest in the middle East will not change nor will he lead any new initiative, his interests lay elsewhere. (if need be he will do his part for a status Que.) 1- the onus of leadership needs to come from Israel for peace. The reactionary posturing of the USA and Israel has led us down a dark tunnel. 2- While common sense would dictate that the rational "leader" act in the best interests of his people his methodology and actions are not judged rationally . Hamas now legitimatized methodology for terror and hiding behind women and children has been marginalized in relation to the magnitude of establishing themselves as "the Man" when it comes to the Palestinian plight.
