No physical contact between Palestinian Arab state and Jordanian state whatsoever - they conduct all commerce across Israeli soil, with Israeli inspections. The massive Gaza-Egypt weapons smuggling example (across the supposedly demilitarized Sinai) shows that even Arab states with peace treaties with Israel can not be trusted to keep promises relating to Israeli security. The worthless of UN forces in preventing rocket smuggling into Lebanon in defiance of UNSC1701 proves that international forces are likewise completely unreliable. A 4 km strip is too wide to tunnel under, especially with the Jordan River saturatiung the subsoil. Israel must accept NO alternative, because there isn't one. 11,000 rockets fired from Gaza and NONE from W. Bank (with Israel on the Jordanian border) proves this).
