The present and future are full of infinite possibilities. According to existentialism, people have freedom (there is no predestination or fate) and therefore are free to make choices. Only the past is written in stone. Freedom and responsibility for our actions; the choice to be a good person, not a bad person. The world sees you as you are today. The actions that count the most are what you do today, and are the ones you are judged by. As to Gideon's article, we give meaning to our lives. We decide, what are our goals (not a five-year plan or dogmatic way) but a pragmatic way to live as a good person. What else should be our goal in life? In addition to science and technology, maybe more important is we are human beings with thoughts and feelings, spirituality. I am a human being, you are a human being.
