solution is delaying recognition that there is already one state ruling all of Palestine/Israel and that the problem is ending its apartheid character. Two states, one that is powerful and the other dependent on it and aware of the injustice that has been imposed on its people would constitute Grand Apartheid. A two-state solution such as is imaginable today would mean a Palestinian entity equivalent of a bantustan. When this false approach is dropped, then will come the move to democratize Israel. Success may be slow, but is is the only approach that can gradually lead to something more just. What is overlooked is that it is also far more realistic than is the partition idea. Of course, the corrupt Palestinian leaders would be unhappy, as they could not pretend to be leaders of a state.
