This epitomizes the Reform movement. It shows that it is not concerned about Judaism and is more concerned about the individual. The use of a religion as a vehicle for social togetherness is so hollow. Dividing Jerusalem, which could well mean giving up the Temple Mount, will be a massive blow to main stream Zionistic Jews. Like the bar mitzvah ceremonies that have become little to do with Judaism and all to do with the prince or princess Saturday morning show, the Reform places the emphasis on the short term. The movement has caused serious divisions between Jews and continues in it's ways to do all but bring together.
