    the pr victory you speak is debatable .. the refusal of abbas to negotiate and use the settlement issue as an excuse is wearing thin on everyone including egypt and jordan. they realize that the palestinains are being rejectionists in the eyes of the american public which is what really counts. The US press has gone off the liberal deep end and is now regarded as bias, corrupt and arrogant .. just look at the new york times versus the conservatives, fox news and the journal ... both of which support Israel100%. Only in the liberal world of haaretz do the tired old palestianan arguements make sense and that is why haaretz like j street and the rest of the progressives are increasinglu ignored ... in fact next teusday they are going to be wiped out of US poltiics. The next congress will be decisvely pro Israel and we will see how abbas and obama suck it up.
