If I were Rabbi Lau I would remove my name from being a contender for the Presidency even if I were innocent!!! The Haaretz editorial is full warning that the paper will be gunning for him if he wins, regardless if there is, or is not, substance to any allegations. The present editor of Haaretz was quoted in a Columbia School of Journalism publication to the effect that Sharon's peccadillos had to be overlooked for the greater good of the evacuation of Gaza. Haaretz brings the low high and the high low with impunity according to its elitist worldview. With journalism like this we all can see why the Laurel and Hardy phrase is applicable "See what a fine kettle of fish we are in Ollie." (N.B Personally I am not a great fan of rabbi Lau.)

from the article: Rabbi Lau is unworthy
