Any, and every, leader of Israel must ultimately concern him/herself with one question - what must I do to guarantee the safety of the Jewish nation. If Netanyahu and Barak decide that, only a srike against a nation whose leaders have called for the extermination of the Jewish state - a nation that is within striking distance of such a capability, can guarantee that safety, then their decision can hardly be called a purposeless adventure. Indeed, the most apt description for their decision might well be "U'Mi Yodei'a Im Le'et KaZot Higa'at LaMalchut?"
