Gideon Levy, a true moral giant, has established himself as a the only jew in occupied Palestine with a conscience. All the jewish parties in the zionist entity have former army or shin bet officers among their top rank. These organisations are, as Levy points out, irredeemably guilty of killing Arab freedomfighters. Moreover, they all supported the erection of the racist wall, which has proven to be a serious obstacle for the freedomfighters to carry out their holy missions. In a society based on equal rights, they should be provided not only free access to all of Palestine but also the means to aquire advanced weapons. In particular, all what I said above applies also to Meretz (Yahad) which is the most left-wing of all. Thus, Meretz (though not mentioned explicitly in the article) has been exposed as extreme-rightist, just as all the others. When the uprising achieves its goals and justice comes to Palestine, Gideon Levy will be the only jewish person to deserve having his life spared. This might be difficult in practice, because the liberating armies might not know where he resides and how he looks like. Gideon should take care to rectify this lack of information when the time is near.

The silenced history of the IDF's 'Mizrahi problem'

In 1951, a British-born officer wrote a report about the treatment of Mizrahi Jews in the Israeli army. It shows that there were already voices within the establishment warning against racism.
