How come that after a decade and half, since the onslaught of the Great Russian Immigration, there is a necessity to have and promote such a sprawling Media Russian Empire in a Land where supposedly they wanted to realise all their Thousands Years yearning of Living in the Land of their ancestry: in russian?!. Now now Lily your comparaison with the Israeli Arabs, based on the fact that both groups are not too well versed in the language of Israel, Hebrew, is from the "left" side. How such a supposedly smart person could draw connections and explain the "unfortunate" sharing of the same inability to integrate in the Israeli Society. As a Moroccan, I don't recall that we went ahead and built a parallel society with different language, though we were called names, and the scourge of the Israeli society, while we went ahead and build villages and cities, struggled with our old people in our desire for them to speak Hebrew, instead of French or Judeo-Arabic dialects. We accepted with lot of tolerance and compassion the difficulty in the new land but it was the land our Fathers and Forfathers dreamed about to reach for centuries, though Tsfat, Gaza, Hebron, Tiberias and Jerusalem always had Moghrabi (Morocca) districts for centuries. What irkes you Galilly is the fact that those same Moroccans who are today tyhreatening the Hegemony of the AShkenazes are trying to retool the machinery of the State of Israel by blocking and reducing total internal strife that will bring about the distraction of the Third House. Edry and Sheetrit, to your ears are Jewish Moroccan immigrants that have come with their familly, suffering hardship but thankful for the fact that they are able to contribute to the security and long-term viability of a JEWISH State.
