How can we Jews say we are one people when things like this happen. In the Israeli secular society Ashkenazim and Sephardi's marry each other, they then produce children who are just Israelis. What we are dealing with here has no place in this multi-cultural world. The attempt by these people not to have their children mix with the Sephardi girls must be stopped. These religious groups have too much influence. They have produced a situation of the Tail wagging the Dog. Separate this and separate that for them, is a nonsense, and must be stooped by law. If they do not wish to abide by the laws of the country they live in, then they can leave. Their are more ultra orthodox Jews living in New York than in Israel who have cut themselves off from the others people around them. They will feel quite at home there.
