Why only now? Easy, it took some time to find him a good job as some Director of some entity, doing something. Also, he probably fugured out that he needed a couple of additional months to get his max. pension. It really doesn't matter. Good that we are rid of this one. Olmert, it seems, will still hold on some more, till he is "canned" for multiple "wrongdoings". Peretz will also go, probably, faster. The only problem we still have is that these two remaining figures will decide on the new General in Chief. But....who knows, maybe we get lucky and "without really trying", they come up with a good one. I keep my fingers crossed!
