I was working on strength calculations for a wing spar. I realized that if I only ignored a few natural forces I could make the spar much lighter and thus more efficient. First removed weight (gravity) from the equations. A weightless plane is dreamy in it's performance, and would seem perfect. The problem is of course that weight may be gone but inertia was still there, and of course, ignoring gravity doesn't make it go away, it just makes anything you do useless in the real world. This is why Hamas has to be included in any consideration. It exists, it is an important part of the situation, and it is impossible to wish it away.
