Disease, Jared diamond in a great book guns germs and steel looks at well a lot of history. One thing he notes is the amount of incans, Aztecs and mayans who died from European disease and not war. Due to europeans living in larger cities and from having domesticated animals, Europeans were carriers and generally immune to the diseases they carried. Diamond notes that an overwhelming majority of indingenous persons in the "new world" died from the diseases and not war. Since Europeans didnt understand this or do it purposefully how is this genocide? Classic Chavez he sees ends and assumes the means and intent.
